Joey Harris is a husband, father, author, teacher and speaker specializing in helping people to understand the Bible and to experience deeper love by living according to the teachings of Jesus.
Joey holds degrees from Princeton University and the University of Phoenix and has also done academic work in biblical studies, history of religion, world religions, mysticism and spirituality, slave religion, intertestamental Judaism, Islam, Classical and Koine Greek, Biblical Hebrew, systematic theology, Christian ethics, education, hermeneutics, and organizational dynamics at Princeton University, Princeton Theological Seminary, University of Pennsylvania, Montclair State University, Trinity Theological Seminary, Columbia Biblical Seminary, the Rocky Mountain School of Ministry and Theology, the Biblical Languages Center, Biblingo Live, and the Ancient Languages Institute.
Areas of specialization include Second Temple and Early Church history, biblical exposition and teaching, world religions, apologetics, biblical languages, and multicultural ministry.
Joey has an international teaching and speaking ministry called Teach Me the Bible. He is also the co-director and a founding teacher of the Athens Institute of Ministry (www.athensinstitute.org), which teaches courses in biblical and religious studies online and in various locations internationally.
